Thank you so much, inadvertentgardener. It was an incredible honor to be there, and to hear everyone else’s writing and stories before and after this one. I am still digesting what a powerful impact we all are having on one another — all thousand-plus of us in that room that night, and all umpteen-gazillion of the rest of us for which we BlogHer 08 conference-goers were stand-ins.

The pure joy I felt on Thanksgiving, being enveloped by the radiating love of my 9 year old son and my wife is a high to carry me beyond the now.

I’m glad not all thanks tend to come out so materialistic.
